ALL ARE WELCOME.
CHRISTIAN COUNSELING FOR COUPLES, FAMILIES, AND INDIVIDUALS.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
-Isaiah 43:2
I’m so glad you landed here. I hope that you will find the courage to reach out. When considering therapy, I know there may be parts of you hesitant, fearful, or skeptical. Those parts of you are welcome here. My heart is to help you find harmony in your inner-self, relationships, and place in this world. You are welcome from whatever faith-background, social location, and heart position you find yourself in.
All are welcome.
A Trinitarian Worldview.
What’s with the Logo?
This trinitarian symbol is an image that came to me before I entered schooling for Marriage and Family Therapy. I now use it to signify the heart of my work as a clinician.
As a couple & family therapist, I understand the smallest unit of relationship to be three. This is because relationships between two people often build up anxiety making them unstable. They need a third party to stabilize. This may be a child, a mentor, a church community, or a therapist. This third party provides counsel, care, and hope for the couple.
As an individual therapist, I believe that our inner system is made up of three important roles to create harmony: Managers keep us in control, exiles hold our hurt, and firefighters soothe us.
As a Christian, I hold the holy family as a model to emulate. They show us the power of sacrificial, flexible, & enduring love. I’m honored to have their image connected to my practice.
“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am with them.”
